Auteuil is a district of Laval, Quebec. It is bounded to the northwest by the Mille-Îles River, to the northeast by Saint-François, to the southeast by Duvernay, to the south by Vimont and to the southwest by Sainte-Rose (CP railway) . Located to the north of the city, it is mainly made up of agricultural land, woodlands and residential areas.
Auteuil corresponds approximately to the former territory of the Sainte-Rose-Est parish. When it was created in 1740, the Sainte-Rose-de-Lima parish covered almost the entire northwest of Île Jésus. Its first church was located at the eastern limit of the territory of the ancient town of Auteuil, on the banks of the Mille Îles River, around Descartes and Debien streets.
